Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

Ordered online for pick up. Paid. Said that order would be ready for pick up at 7:49. Came at 7:30 and the doors are locked and the lights are all off. Hours on the door indicate 10am - 8pm. No signs on the door indicating early closure.

So I know this won't be a popular review. However, I don't see the hype around Papa Murphy's. I'm not from minnesota and i've heard nothing but great things about papa murphy's. I decided to try it out to see what all the fuss was about. Selected my pizza. It was about $20 and then I had to take it home and bake it. Which took about 35 minutes. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional either. The amount of toppings on the pizza was very generous. The quality of the toppings was good. The crust to me was just so so and I didn't feel like it had Enough sauce. Not to mention, I then had to spend over half an hour cooking it when I got home when you taken to account the time I spent cooking the money for the electricity to run the oven. I would have been way better off. Just buying one made at the store.. The people in the store were very nice and very friendly. However, the inside of the store itself seemed very dirty. That was loud music playing. It was a little chaotic with lots of people talking in yelling to each other while making the pizzas. It wasn't terrible, there wasn't great. It was good enough. I'm gla, how do I get? It probably won't do it again.

I don’t think they let the dough rise before making the pizzas because it’s SUPER bubbly when you bake it. Also, this is the “5 cheese bread” we got.

I never got my Jack-O-Lantern pizza because they were 2 hours behind

Perfectly made. Incredibly nice staff. And such a bargain! Two large pizzas and a salad on a Tuesday night for under $30!
